My forays into art began when I was invited to paint a large yellow mushroom on the concrete wall of the playground.
I continue to find inspiration in the integrity of nature and the mystery of personality. My work includes pastel portraits and abstract paintings with effervescent color medleys and luminous highlights. The sense of aspiration and meditation in these works touches on personal resilience and belief. It is my joy to capture exuberance, faith, and strength.
I was born in Taiwan and moved to San Francisco with my family as a young child. I studied at San Francisco's de Young Museum art school and U.C. Berkeley. I now live and work in the Seattle area.
